Konos Inc. is a privately held food manufacturer who ships shell eggs all over the world. The company produces more than 60 million dozen shell eggs per year for commercial and retail use with the help of 120+ employees.
The Office Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and organizing the office in our Otsego, MI location.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: answering phones, greeting visitors, incoming and outgoing mail administration, truck wash gatekeeper, ordering supplies for office & processing plant, filing for office staff, taking monthly fuel inventory and miscellaneous projects from management.
Candidate will also be responsible for some A/R functions including creating transfer orders between the three locations, verifying all orders are correct in CFS system before pickup, and entering new vendors in system before confirming and printing the orders.
The Office Administrator’s duties will also include coordinating employee travel and weekly meetings in the facility. H/R functions will include programming complex access cards for new employees, monitoring security cameras, completing new hire paperwork with employees, coordinating the employee uniform program, and enrolling new employees into the time clock program with ADP.
The ideal candidate should be well organized, be detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to maintain confidentiality. Proficiency with data entry and Microsoft Office are also skills we are looking for. Previous office administration experience preferred.
